This wasn't directed at me, but I think the poster was referring to Wabi in regards to a pregnancy storyline, not a romantic storyline.

I think Will and Sonny are both dull and neither actor is putting in good work right now. I think Chandler does fine with certain types of conflict, but everything else he's just kind of blah and there. As dull as he is, I do prefer Will now to the eternal brat that we had with him for several months.

I never got tire of him calling Sami out on her crap. Other than Marlena, that's the only time I've enjoyed Will.

I agree, Will and Sonny are a snoozefest.
I didn't mind Will being honest with his mom regarding her mistakes, but insulting her and belittling her was totally disrespectful. He needed a slap down from both parents. Regardless how she conducted her life and dumb mistakes she made, that is still his mom and she loves him, the same for Lucas.

I didn't mind him calling her out...once. Maybe twice. Every other episode was a bit of overkill.

Chandler Massey bores me to death...jep, I said it. I was a fan, before he got his award...he was so promising. Maybe he should interact with Arianne more often...acting lessons DO help!

Watched most of the show. I adore how Blake plays Nick. I'm not sure what Nick's issues might be, but I love that Blake is playing them very subtlely. There's an intensity and edge to a lot of it and I really like it. It's been a long time since anyone bothered to play some layers and mystery to their character. And Nick makes Gabi likeable in some way. I thought the scene with Sonny, Will, Gabi, and Nick was well done.

Peggy continues to do so well with Caroline's storyline. Peter and Mary Beth were really good as well. Bo the nervous wreck and Kayla trying to believe that it will be something else. Even Fauxman wasn't as awful as usual. I have always loved that the Bradys feel like a real family and Peggy, Peter, and Mary Beth are showing that yet again.

I didn't hate the Sami/Marlena scenes, although I wish the show would decide how Sami feels about her mother. I like this better than Sami screaming at Marlena about one thing or another, but the whiplash is annoying.

I enjoyed BOTH the Sami/Will and Marlena/Sami conflicts for a few reasons, but mainly because they acknowledged character history.
It made sense for Will to finally call out his mom for her shenanigans and for putting her love life ahead of her kids. And I liked the dual conflict with Will's coming out. I think Will was also pushing Sami away because he was afraid that she wouldn't accept his sexuality. Overall, I enjoyed the drama and that it was a consistent storyline that made sense. I was invested and anticipated their reunion. And when Sami & Will did share some touching scenes, it was emotional and sweet to see. I'd much prefer to see this kind of continued conflict, instead of the week long conflicts/plot points we are seeing now.
And I also enjoyed watching Will start to be more confident and deceptive too. I did enjoy the EJILL scenes and again, the consistency of the storyline. I was excited to see what was going to happen next.

But anyways, I hope both Will and Sonny get more interesting both as individuals, as as a couple. I know I will be annoyed if Will goes back to being self deprecating when he finds out about the WABI baby. I don't want to hear him go on and on about how he's not worthy of Sonny or he is a screw up. Whether he is those things is beside the point LOL. I don't like Will as an insecure or vanilla character.

I think both FS and CM are good actors and are trying to do the best for how their characters are being written, but the writing just hasn't been that great IMO. I personally don't see much chemistry b/t them yet, but that's not a knock against the actors. Chemistry can be hard to come by even if it is 2 good actors. Chemistry is obviously subjective too so I'm glad others do see their chemistry. I support WilSon but just not that into them yet :)

I would love for Arianne to interact with Will once again. Their scenes during the election story were fun so I am optimistic they would be good again. I'd like to see Nicole and Sonny mix it up, too.

Blake has been damn near perfect since his return. He's always interesting to watch as I literally have no idea how he might react or what he might say. Then of course what he's done with Gabi is nothing short of miraculous. Whatever they are paying him is not enough.

The entire storyline with Caroline is playing out far better than I had imagined. Maybe the show learned a lesson or two during Will's coming out story and is applying a similar personal and heartfelt touch to this story. It may not be the type of farewell story for Bo that many fans had envisioned; but PR and PM are doing fantastic work. It's touching how much Bo is genuinely concerned about his mother. It's a tragic story far too many people endure in the real world and I suspect PR is quite fond of his performance in his final days, and he has every right to be proud.

I personally loved the Will/Sonny scenes, and trust me, I've been vocal before when I didn't like them - just because I'm a fan of the pairing, doesn't mean I won't say when I think it's bullcrap. But yeah, the scenes were very cute and had alot of sexual innuendos which I loved. Will/Sonny are in the honeymoon period right now but the angst and the drama is coming so I'm sure things will get interesting enough for those of you who think Wilson are boring right now (each to there own and all that)

I love how there was so much touching and such going on in the scenes soon, was so cute and adorable, I'm a sucker for all that, as well as angst. I'm also very intrigued as to what the hell Nick's problem is. Hope they actually stick with him having an issue rather than resolve it in a few days, I'd like to see that go longer than a few days - though I'm not sure why he seems so off with Will/Sonny, but I guess that's the point, we have to wait and see if it's something more than just homophobia.

I wish Peter wasn't going, but I do have to say that he and Peggy are doing wonderful work. I really enjoy the scenes we get with Caroline, Bo, and Kayla, and wish there had been more of them to look to over the past few years, since they're a highlight for me.

This Caroline story has more meaning for me than the constant EJ/Sami/Rafe merry go round Days features. I tend to enjoy James' work, but I get so tired of the same story playing out on my screen year after year. Caroline's story is different and they're handling it better than most of the ones they give us nowadays.

I finally had some time to watch. Bo and caroline are doing a wonderful job in this storyline. I also like the nick gabi stuff. Ive never been a big gabi fan but the two of them have lots of chemistry. Will and sonny stuff was alittle boring. I like the concept of wilson but neither actor is really selling the story for me im hoping that they get a better story soon though. Ejs scene with the little boy was really sad and also the ones he did with nicole. I dont even hate that he recorded the conversation since its high time he knew the truth.

I was going to post this earlier but got off track LOL!

Did anyone else laugh when Sonny told Nick- 'It was nice meeting you. I'll see you at the house later.' I guess the Kiriakis mansion must be pretty damn big if they live there together & haven't crossed paths yet!

Not sure about Nick's reaction to Will, but he seemed to have more of a reaction to Will being gay, not Sonny. And with the PDA, it was obvious that WilSon were a couple as soon as they sat down. Nick seemed to have a stronger reaction when he found out Will & Gabi dated. So I still think Nick's issue is more about him becoming obsessive with Gabi. He was also very annoyed when the NABI kiss was interrupted. Plus Nick has a history of being obsessive so I think that side of him is going to come back.
It could be a homophobic thing too though, but as of now, I don't think that it will be- even though that's what it seems like it could be. And I've said this before, but I still think NABI will be the engaged couple.

^^ I think so too. There's no passion in his scenes and i doubt Tomsell are in a rush. Nabi on their first date after knowing each other for something like ten minutes have kissed and you can tell they are way into each other and Wilson have known each other forever and nothing.

They feel very token-ny I'm afraid. If Gabi does fall pregnant, this will likely be more Nabi/Wabi centric.
Nabi & Wabi centric? Are you kidding me? William is GAY and if you can't accept that, get over yourself.
I know that Will is gay, I did not imply he wasn't. I am just not so convinced the writers are bent on focusing on his s/l with Sonny without Gabi being thrust into the middle of it especially if she is preggers and he continues to keep quiet about sleeping with her even though he knew he was very much gay. I don't understand why their little tryst is being treated as a super secret, Wilson weren't dating at the time and Gabi didn't even know Nick existed so what gives?. They are creating Wabi drama where ther isn't and should never be.

I agree. Gabi and Nick are definitely going to be thrown into Wilson's story or else they wouldn't have had them run into them. And they probably will be the only two gay people in Salem much like Lexie and Abe were the only two black people in Salem for years and never let out of each other's orbit for long. Days does tokenism well. It's one of the few things they do very well.

So Nick and Gabi are stargazing in HTS. This smacks of lazy writing for two reasons. First, the HTS is supposed to have a roof on it. Is this roof made of glass or see-through plastic? Is the roof retractable, much like the ones on some sports stadiums? Secondly, with all of the light pollution and glare from the HTS, how did they see any stars in the sky anyway? I have a tough time seeing the stars at night, let alone downtown at night. Maybe I am being too critical of the writing here, especially since Gabi was supposedly a top student in high school and she's now struggling with astronomy of all courses.

Yeah this is really a big error. The light pollution issue. There's no way they'd be able to see the stars while sitting on the couch in the middle of Horton Town Square.

Edit to add: One could argue that, in a small town, it might be dark downtown at night. However, you wouldn't see the stars if your immediate area was lit up. The immediate area must've been lit up, or otherwise Will and Sonny walking along wouldn't have noticed Nick and Gabi on the couch -- prompting Will to greet them.

This seems to be another glaring writers' error.

I thought that Victor, Maggie, Justin, Adrienne, Sonny, Nick, (and Henderson the butler) all live at the Kiriakis mansion.

Unless Sonny got a place of his own at some point, and it was never mentioned?

There's something about the Will and Sonny scenes that seems off to me. I'm not sure if it is the writing or the interplay between the actors or maybe something else. For whatever reason, Nick and Gabi seem more authentic than Will and Sonny in these Tuesday scenes and I refuse to chalk that up to CB. There is no way she is a better actor than any of those three guys. Maybe I should stop nitpicking and simply enjoy the scenes for the mindless diversions that they are, even if they are littered with painful flashbacks.
IMO its Chandler Massey....I feel like he is not comfortable in anyway with this material...he is doing a horrible sell job IMO...I do not believe for one second that Will has feelings for Sonny....the pairing is hollow and rushed...there has been no slow burn.

Massey is phoning it in lately IMO

I am interested to see if things change over the next few weeks. Chandler was obviously was doing some damage control when he tweeted after fans called him out and also in the interview he did on this board. Based on taping schedules and when that tweet was made should be interesting to see if things change over the next few weeks. But in all fairness for the first WilSon kiss Chandler did a great job with that and seemed very into it. I think most of this is chalked up to the the writers and directors not allowing WilSon to be passionate enough with each other and not the fault of either actor. I think they have been great but they do need to turn more intense soon but the writing hasn't allowed them to do much not to mention their screen time has been too short.

But it is very interesting how Will and Sonny are supposed to be a landmark couple for this show and not once do we ever see Chandler nor Freddie do press together. We don't even see Chandler talk about the show at all anymore and is that because he doesn't want to talk about WilSon? The past few months was all Freddie doing press and trying to promote WilSon.
Yeah, that first kiss was awesome. I saw a lot of passion there, but haven't seen much sense. They've had some cute scenes since then. I liked the whole coffee date. But now we need something more. It's just been too cutesy for me. And not that I dislike all the touching and having the arms around each other, but it kind of seems like they are just trying too hard. To me, it doesn't feel that natural. I would almost rather they didn't touch each other that much, because then when they did..it would be that much more meaningful. I mean they are already referring to each other as boyfriend and we really didn't get any kind of conversation about that. I thought Will said it was just a date or two last we heard. I don't know. It just seems like something is off....and I hate it because this is the only story I'm really invested in. It's like they are rushing certain aspects, but going too slow in others...it's just not fitting somehow. I really agree though that we need to see some more passion there. It's like they are hanging out a lot, but nothing very "romantic" is going on to me. I'm ready for whatever drama is coming their way.

I worry where they are going with Nick and Will because I don' want him to be a homophobe. And I'm not wild about the idea of him being raped in prison, but I know Blake will play the heck out of it.

I'd like to take a minute and really appreciate Nick's talking to Gabi about why he got into Astronomy and how much he missed the stars in prison. The writing in that scene was a great idea, Blake played it awesomely and I liked how Gabi just sat there and listened. It's amazing to me how much more likable I find Gabi.
